Soils and Irrigation Specialist -

Steve is a Cal Poly graduate with a BS degree in Soil Science and a minor in Water Science. Steve has achieved the designation as a Certified Professional Soil Scientist.  Aside from his working experience on the Central Coast he has also worked in vineyards in both Chile and New Zealand. Steve works closely with the VPS vineyard managers monitoring vineyard soil moisture and scheduling irrigation. On new vineyard development projects Steve evaluates soil conditions in order to assist vineyard management decisions regarding rootstock/clonal selection, vineyard layout, soil amendment needs and other critical land resource decisions.
